Notices to the students

  • Notice on Nov. 4th:  From Monday, Nov. 11th 2019, the face-to-face lectures will be suspended in order to start the project preparation phase for the final examination (see the notice below for details about the project). During this phase, the teacher will be available, each Monday from 9:30 to 11:30, for dedicated project meetings with the students.

  • Notice on Oct. 31st: The text of the projects is published in the SVN repository (see the folder "projects"). Students are free to choose one of the four available projects. They have to give a seminar (in form of PowerPoint presentation) about the project topics of 20-25 minutes, during which the teacher can make questions. The seminar will be given in the official dates that will be published for the exam in the "segreteria virtuale". Each project folder contains a .txt file with the description of the assigned homework plus a .zip archive containing paper that are useful to arrange the presentation. However, in order to produce a successful seminar, the student is required to go a bit beyond what has been studied during the course and what is contained in the papers uploaded in the project folder.

  • Notice on Sept. 24th: The lecture on Monday,25th September will be suspended

  • This page contains only the course material concerning the part of the course taught by Prof. Massimo Tivoli. Thus, it does not contain material related to the topics taught by Prof. Henry Muccini. Please, in case you need, ask Prof. Muccini for that.
